Teamlead IT Service Desk

Exciting Opportunity: Seeking a dynamic Teamlead for IT ServiceDesk to steer LAT Nitrogen's IT Service operations towards excellence.

Role Overview:
As the Teamlead IT ServiceDesk at LAT Nitrogen, you will manage the tactical and operational aspects of our IT services that support endpoint devices and IT workplaces, especially the IT ServiceDesk and the On-Site Services. This role involves enhancing IT security, managing resources efficiently, and ensuring high-quality IT service delivery across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee IT services for ServiceDesk operations, ensuring a risk-based security approach and continuous service improvement.
  • Manage vendor relations and SLA agreements to maximize service value.
  • Drive the strategic and tactical management of the IT ServiceDesk, translating overall IT strategies into actionable plans.
  • Act as a product owner for the IT Service Management Tool (ITSM), overseeing its effective utilization and improvement.

What We Expect from You:

  • Proven experience in managing IT ServiceDesk operations within a complex, international and security-focused environment.
  • Strong capability in resource and budget management – in combination with a multi-location and multi-national team as well as with our outsourcing providers.
  • Leadership in implementing IT strategies that improve business efficiency and service quality.
  • Engagement in continuous improvement and agile practices within the IT team.

About You:

  • You have 3-10 years of experience as an IT ServiceDesk team lead, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical industry setting.
  • A total of 5-15 years of experience within IT, with a significant track record in service management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing both internal staff and external service providers in an international environment.
  • University degree in Informatics or a similar field, supplemented by ITIL certification.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages being beneficial.
