Teamlead IT Infrastructure

Are you a seasoned IT leader looking for a dynamic role at the forefront of the chemical industry? LAT Nitrogen is searching for an experienced Teamlead IT Infrastructure to strategize and oversee our IT infrastructure operations.

Role Overview:
As the Teamlead IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for tactical and operational management within our IT infrastructure unit, supporting the LAT Nitrogen Group's business goals with effective and efficient IT services. You will ensure IT security, manage resources optimally, and lead a team dedicated to maintaining and advancing our IT systems.

Location: Various locations across Europe: (Austria – Linz, Vienna; France – Ottmarsheim, Grand-Quevilly, Paris; Germany – Piesteritz; Hungary – Budapest)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and strategic management of IT infrastructure.
• Implement and refine IT services to ensure high quality and security.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements to optimize IT operations.
• Lead the IT team in tactical planning and execution of projects aligned with the overall IT strategy.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agile practices within the team.

What We Expect from You:

• Proven leadership in managing IT operations with a focus on infrastructure and security within a complex international IT environment of an manufacturing company.
• Strong capability in budget management, cost tracking, and resource allocation – in combination with a multi-location and multi-national team as well as with our outsourcing providers.
• Expertise in developing and implementing IT strategies that align with business objectives.
• Active participation in IT management processes and improvement initiatives.

About You:

• You have 5-10 years of experience as an IT infrastructure team lead, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical industry setting.
• A total of 7-15 years of experience within IT, demonstrating a career of growth and increased responsibility.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing teams in an international environment.
• University degree in Informatics or a related field, or substantial professional experience compensating for formal qualifications.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional languages being advantageous.
